One guy in my league has Longoria and Mark Reynolds. He's had Reynolds on the bench all season. His closers suck... Hanrahan, Ziegler, and Frank Francisco. We start 3 closers each week. My closers are: Broxton, Wilson, and Soriano.

Is this offer fair?

My Brian Wilson plus Hank Blalock for his Mark Reynolds. Would I have to throw in Johnny Cueto too?

Recently, a trade was approved that sent David Wright, Huston Street, and JA Happ to a team for Figgins and Mariano Rivera, so I'm thinking my deal is fair. Just need other opinions.

that offer will not get you reynolds. reynolds has been a top 10 player this year and wilson and blalock isn't near enough. you have to offer broxton and a better bat than blalock to get it done.

Thanks for the help on mine. That wont get close to Reynolds though IMO. You would have to give Broxton, Cueto and someone else probably. Reynolds is a top 25 guy.

Yeah, if he has no use for Reynolds he most likely has no use for Blalock either. What other bats can you offer?

the other guy rarely checks his team, and he's never used reynolds for some crazy reason.

I offered: Wilson, Cueto, and Blalock for Reynolds. Can't hurt.

Thanks for the help. If this is a H2H league Closers are hit and miss each week so offering Broxton should work out fine for you. Cueto has been a mess for about 2 months now. He prob. could have been dropped. Hope he bites..

Well......for starters I would suppose you would have to make sure the guy is around to accept/reject the offer since you said he hardly get's on. Next, if the guy has Reynolds on his bench then he is a moron and you could probably ask him to give Reynolds for Blalock alone and he would probably do it!!! LOL

For real though.....your initial offer is not enough if it was me.....actually If I had Reynolds I most likely wouldn't trade him at all....but it's not me so post the offer and see what he says or does and go from there! (I'm guessing he doesn't even get online)!!!

I'm going with the conscensus and saying this deal won't get it done. You need to offer him one of your closers and a solid bat (not a 3b).

Cueto has been badly struggling so i doubt this guy will want him either.

If you have depth at an offenseive position that he needs that is prob what you need to do. Post your roster and maybe we can tell you what to offer.

Can you help with mine?
