Big deal...Longoria and Rivera!!! Help!

Postby bongovt » Tue Aug 04, 2009 7:53 pm

In a tight race...my biggest chances to gain are saves and SBs...someone out of the race is having a fire sale to build for next year...He's offered me Mo Rivera and Elvis Andrus for Evan Longoria...Im seriosly considering this, as my best cats are RBIs and HRs, not sure if Evan has peaked for the year, and this is the first year as a keeper and Im having such a tough time deciding who to keep, I was considering throwing him back for a 1st rd pick anyway...Am I crazy, or will this fill both needs w.o killing my future? WHIR,,,leave a link...thanks!!!

so now hes made 2 other options, as hes working another owner to deal Mo as well....option 2 is not doable, as he wants Morneau too, which wouuld drain my power too much....but option 3 could be interesting...Hes offering Rivera, Ryan Franklin, and Ichiro for my Longoria and Sabathia. This intrigues me, as Id make a good run at the Saves title and the roto pts with both of them, as well as improve my steals and OBP...Sabathia was likely to be a keeper for me, and I do like him a lot, but he's not producing all that well now. Is this one crazier or better? WHIR...thanks!

I don't like either of those. They're awful. I would laugh at offers like that.
