Dynasty Trade Advice?

Postby bcbhockey68 » Tue Aug 04, 2009 4:11 pm

About two weeks ago in my dynasty league I traded my Pence and Beckham for Smoak, Beltran, and Ibanez (remember this was before Beckham started really heating up)

And then last week I traded my Sandoval, Brett Wallace, and Ibanez for Travis Snider, A. Escobar, Russell Martin, and Aramis Ramirez (In this trade I felt like I was upgrading in multiple positions and that was worth giving a top player like Sandoval).

I'm building for the future because this year was a lost cause and I needed your thoughts good or bad. Also I'm thinking of packaging Beltran and Aram for Ryan Zimmerman and just going to stock up on young upside players and prospects is this smart? And the last question will my players who are NA will a majority of them be solid next year or just get playing time?

ok first off i think you got hosed big time in the Ibanez/Pablo deal even if it was just to get young guys you could have gotten alot more and bigger talent then that for both Ibanez and Pablo, Martin is junk and highly, HIGHLY overrated the 19 bombs from 2 years ago is turning more and more into a fluke and hes just really not that great of a fantasy C in general... not to mention you got alot older with Aram over Sandoval (assuming he would have been kept next year he would have lost the C, giving him only 1B and 3B), so no clue why you did that deal, Snider has been hyped up for so many years now i get a kick out of it year after year...

2nd... i think you are tremendously over paying for Zimmerman, i understand getting younger, but don't over pay for him now, Aram and Beltran is overkill for Zimmy who has showed flashes but is finally just this year putting stuff together, wait for a cold streak and offer something less then Aram and Beltran...

3rd... Snider i think doesn't receive enough PT next year to be relevant, Young's path is blocked by Stewart and Barmes so i don't see him doing much of anything next year, Escobar MAY, but even with Hardy's struggles they are paying the guy too much to just bench him for a younger Esobar... and i think Smoak is still a year+ away from seeing significant PT, and Aumont is WAY out there...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...
