Aaron Hill for Berkman?

I've been struggling with Ian Stewart at 2B for weeks, and it's killing me. As you can see from my roster below, my middle infield is makeshift right now. All those guys are young and playing great now, but I have my doubts about them keeping it up. I put out feelers for 2B trades, and someone offered me Hill for Berkman. Lance is on the DL right now, he's getting up there in years.....but the guy produces consistently. Is this worth pulling the trigger on? Can Hill keep this up?

I'm really temped b/c of the general weakness at 2B this year, but trading away Lance is tough to do. If I do it, I will have to move Branyon to 1st and hope Beckham keeps this up. Izturis can be moved around too. I stuck the qualifying positions in my roster below as well.

Now throw in the fact that Cruz is probably going to the DL. Any other opinions?

i would do it. Is it a redraft league? Berkman has been hurting all year and they will probably shut him down easier than they will push him to play.Berkman isn't going to play this year without pain and another possible trip to the dl. HIll is legit and has better numbers. DO THE DEAL!

It's redraft, no keepers. The injury is what has me leaning towards doing the deal.

I would. I picked up Hill ,even though I had as a keeper i an Kinsler, at the beggining of the year because my back up was a very early april bust. He has been my legit utility player on my team since. He had one bad stretch in the middle of July but has gotten right back to what he was doing.

Berkman has been nothing but close to a complete dissapointment and im glad I didnt have him on my team last year and would have wasted a keeper spot on my team this year. I dont see him picking it back up at all.

Do the trade I have no doubts that Hill keeps this up with all the protection that he has around him in Toronto.
