howard is a ridiculously large upgrade from ortiz imo.

i like martinez more than sandoval but i don't think it's that big a difference (assuming sandoval has c eligibility in your league) sandoval hits for a better avg but will get less rbis and runs. home runs will be about the same.

so i'd say you're getting a pretty good deal.

could recieve a better and more accurate answer if you posted the league settings (I.E. League size, scoring type, keeper or non-keeper) and also your current roster...

overall value i say take this deal, if its a non-keeper you don't have to worry about Sandoval losing his C elig. next year and you get to ride it all of this year so esentially i think it looks like this...

Pablo=VMart (with a SLIGHT edge to VMart if he starts hitting in Boston)
Howard>>>Papi

Papi has been coming back around as of late with the bat, but i still think this whole roids issue will screw with his mind and may hurt him in the long run mentally, even if it doesn't Howard still will out produce him by quite a bit, plus Howard hits in a much better lineup IMO... i think id rather have Howard potential of 45HR/120+RBI with a slightly higher average then normal over Papi's 30ish HR and 100-110 RBI...

but that in itself aside from straight up value all says yes do this deal, you will be able to use Pablo at C the rest of the year which makes him very much equal to VMart and the upgrade from Papi to Howard his HUGE...
