I have both FLA RP's but need to drop 1.
Lindstrom just came back, but it looks like he won't be given the closers role back right away (if at all). Nunez IS the closer now, but will he ve for the rest of the season??
This is a 12-man H2H non-keeper league.

This is tough. Lindstrom has been in the discussion to take it back once he returned. Im not sure I would drop Nunez though because he has been doing a great job. I would assume Nunez will keep getting the save opportunities as long as he keeps converting them. That being said if you need to drop one I would drop Lindstrom. Maybe try to trade him?
Good Luck

at this point and time is Nunez all the way... he hasn't been terrible cuz hes getting the job done, but his ERA has been climbing hes 1-1 with a 6.43 ERA over his last 7 appearences, but is 4-4 in save Opps... it his his job to lose right now as they are easing Lindstrom back into the flow of things and Matt will primarily be used as a late game reliever or short inning reliever until hes back up to speed, he had a good rehab stint only giving up 2ER and both came on a 2-Run shot off him and i mean hes the Closer of choice in Florida as Florida chose him over Nunez and all the rest at the begining of the year... Leo seems to be best suited in the setup role because of his high K rate and his sustainability where he can be used for 1+ innings if the situation is right, where as Lindstrom is pretty much tied down to 1 IP or less per appearence simply because of the arm troubles... i say Nunez holds onto it for a little while until they know Lindstrom is fully healthy and good to go and then the reins are thrown back over to Lindstrom who although he also has a higher ERA he is still 2-1 and has converted 14/16 save opps this year... if i had to pick for a week or so plus id say Nunez (if that long) but long term and the rest of the year its Lindstrom's Job...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

I also have Hochevar. Would he be a better drop than either Leo or Lindstrom?

as i mentioned on another post earlier today, posession is 9/10th of the law when it comes to closers. unless you're talking about an established stud like nathan or rivera, a manager is gonna be hard pressed to pull a performing closer for a guy who's only claim to fame is that he had the job before he got hurt. there is nothing more special about lindstrom than nunez. i would def keep both if i could but if you can only keep one it HAS to be nunez.
help w mine?

I am having the same issue in my 12 Team Yahoo Roto league but I read yesterday on the Yahoo notes that Lindstrom will stay as the setup man and late into innings (unless Nunez falls apart I can imagine)....so I ended up dropping Lindstrom and keeping Nunez!
However....I looked today and the note was gone so not sure if Nunez blowing the loss the other day has something to do with it. I still dropped Lindstrom though and if he takes the closer roll over then I am ready to snag him from the WW. I just feel they will go with the youth in Nunez and rest Lindstrom and his injuries more!
In your case though I would hold both or drop Lindstrom but keep a close eye on the situation!!!
Good Luck!

I'd hold on to hochevar for now. But also I heard its Nunez's job for now but that they were going to ease Lindstrom back in to the job so its not great but if i had to drop one it'd be Lindstrom cause Nunez is forsure for the next little bit.
Help plz
