Pick 3 out of: Dye, Cruz, Abreu and McCutchen

weekly standard 5 x 5 + OPS and losses 12-team league

Dye has been cold the past week and not fantastic the past month, White Sox are playing at home vs LAA and Cleveland, but even so, I am learning towards McCutchen (Pitt plays at home vs Zona and St Louis), Cruz (Plays at Oakland and LAA) and Abreu (@ White Sox, home vs Texas).

Abreu has been red hot, McCutchen is a bit streaky, but I am gonna ride his 3 homer game from Saturday night, and Cruz has outplayed Dye over the past week.

My team is pretty strong everywhere else (Fielder, Aaron Hill, Arod, Dave Wright, Jeter and Kurt Suzuki is filling in for Inge who is suckin). Just curious about your thoughts.

My only warning is that you have Dye going up against the Indians' staff. Normally he scorches them even when they had decent pitching. Now, they do not.

Sometimes the best way to look at is the good hitter who has had an off week or two while in your lineup, usually gets hot the week you sit him. And they get real hot. I would say a hot week by Dye will out last a hot week by McCutcheon any day. Yes he had a 3 homer game, but how compact do you think his swing is going to be the next few days?

Plus I dont like his STL matchups especially paired with Schezer.
