Gallardo for Juan Rivera?

I was offered:

Juan Rivera

for my

Yovani Gallardo.

He may shore up my OF for a run down the stretch. Roster:

12-team, H2H, 6x6 league (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG., OPS. for hitters, and W, SV, K, Holds, ERA, WHIP for pitchers).

Keeper league, we keep 4:

C - Brandon Inge
1B - Ryan Howard
2B - Chase Utley
3B - Hank Blalock
SS - Troy Tulowitzki
OF - Jason Bay
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury
OF - Michael Bourn
Util - Ryan Ludwick
B - Garrett Jones
B - Marco Scutaro

SP - Hamels, E. Jackson, Gallardo, Lester, Blanton, Kazmir, J. De la Rosa
RP - F. Cordero, Capps, Wood, Madson

I'm leaning towards not doing something like this, but Rivera would help me out in the OF for the rest of the season, and may provide some needed pop.

You should be able to get much more for Gallardo. Rivera is having a good year, but his play time could be cut down once Hunter and Vlad come back from injury. I'd pass.

In one of my leagues, Gallardo was traded for Hunter Pence recently. I think I'd go after a guy of that caliber.

Can I get your thoughts on this?

i think you could get more than rivera or pence. i wouldn't do it.

No way. You can get a lot better than Rivera for Gallardo.
