Teix/Miggy Cabrera invovled, Keeper... WHIR>>100%

Hey im in a 12 team h2h KEEPER (don't know the exact number yet) sitting in 2nd place 14 GB and 5 games up on 3rd place... standard yahoo 5x5 scoring...

ive been trying for a little while now to upgrade my 3B situation and have gone back and forth with this guy for a while now heres the deal:

I Give: Mark Teixeira, Scott Rolen, Jair Jurrjens
I Get: Miguel Cabrera, Joe Nathan, Roy Oswalt

my squad as of now:
C-VMart
1b-Pujols
2b-Pedroia
3b-Rolen
ss-Furcal
of-Abreu
of-Ibanez
of-Zobrist
util-Teixeira
bn-BJ Upton, Kurt Suzuki, Aubrey Huff, Stephen Drew, Matt LaPorta, Chris Davis
dl-Delgado

sp-Lincecum
sp-Hallday
sp-CC
rp-Aardsma
rp-Nunez
rp-Max Scherzer
p-Tommy Hanson
p-Jair Jurrjens
p-Ubaldo Jimenez
bn-Scott Baker, Brett Anderson
dl-Tim Hudson, Chris Young, Matt Lidstrom

so should i pull the trigger on this deal? Nathan is a huge, huge help with saves Oswalt could basically step in and give me the same production or close to it that Jurrjens would, and Rolen was a FA pick up and may drop some value in Cincy...

i was looking for a huge 3B addition without spending Lincy or Halladay, and its come to this and i possibly don't even have to give up my #3 starter, i figure i could plug Miggy in at 3B and BJ Upton would be my new Util bat fulltime...

Considering that you have Pujols, I would pull the trigger on this one. It looks like you come away the winner here. Oswalt is a 2nd half pitcher, and you can ditch old Rolen for Miggy at 3b, and even have a top closer thrown in there. I'd make the deal.

I'd do that deal all day. Miggy is a huge @ 3B and you have Albert. Do this!

I'd do this deal without Nathan.. the fact that you're getting a top closer when you're currently starting Leo Nunez makes this a must-do. Great deal for you, thanks for the help on mine.

Definitely would do this deal. Pujols makes Teixeira expendable, and as far as keeper wise, Pujols/Cabrera is a nice 1-2 to start out with and go from there. I'd assume you could find production better than what Rolen was giving you to slot into your Util role (or even just use Upton). And it looks like you needed some saves badly, so it addresses your needs very well.

only thing im worried about is the possibility of Oswalt going on the DL which is still being talked about, hes being skipped on his start tomorrow and the team is waiting til Monday to decide whether or not to place him on the DL list...

still worth it?

I'd definitely do it. As an Oswalt owner, I understand your concerns with him, but your staff is strong enough to be just fine if he does miss a few stats. Like this trade a lot for you.

I also like this deal for you. I think getting Nathan and Oswalt in place of who you are losing makes this deal because MCab and Teix are a awash in my opinion.

please help
