Trade for ARod? WHIR

This is year 1 of a 3 year keeper auction league, ROTO format. You get to keep 4 keepers at the value that you purchased them at otherwise they get re-auctioned next season. I am in 2nd place overall and want to make a run for 1st. I am in 1st place by 40 points in SB, and 1st place by a little in ERA and WHIP. I am near last place in both HR and RBI categories.

I think I am pretty solid with my other pitchers with King Felix ($7), Josh Johnson ($3), Gallardo ($3), Lackey ($5), Kershaw ($1), T.Hanson ($10)

I need help! I am thinking Arod would be a great keeper for only $27 but do you think he is well into his decline? I could use the HR and RBI help but will losing Haren hurt me to much? Would Haren be a better keeper?

I don't like it. You do have a nice pitching staff even without Haren, especially for a keeper league, but I feel like you're giving up too much given that ARod still hasn't quite been his usual self this year. What does the rest of your team look like?

I kind of like this trade for you. A-Rod in decline (if that's what's happening versus just taking awhile to get up to speed after surgery) is still better than a lot of other guys out there. He'll help in HRs and RBIs and also get you some steals. Howell should get you a fair amount of saves too, although I might try to secure a better closer in this deal if that's possible. Then just move Dye to OF and A-Rod to UT.
