So I am interesting in getting one of these SP in my 5x5 10 team league. I can try to get Doc, but that manager is in 5th place and has a chance to make a run...The manager who has Gallardo and CC has been in the basement all year and I really feel like he will not make a run due to his lack of saves, wins, era, sb, and whip..
Who do I trade for then...Doc(and give that person a better chance of winning), or CC or Gallardo(who that person still wont win league but is yankee fan(cc))
If you're in 1st place I'd go for Gallardo. He'll probably be cheaper then the rest, and that way you won't have to give up a key player on your team to get him. Plus, you won't be helping up a team that's still in contention.
I'd ask for Doc and CC. You might as well feel out both simultaneously. In first, you're in a position in which few will want to "help" you, and you might was well weed out those types in a hurry.
well both managers really need sb's..So I think it is a stretch, but I was gonna just offer Elsbury...Like I said it might be a stretch but the only way they contend is if they get sb's.

Ellsbury probably isnt' enough for CC or Doc, but he should land you Gallardo.
Go for the bottom basement player and try and land Gallardo. He won't hurt your standings and could even beat up some of the other teams which would help you. If this is a keeper league, Gallardo should be valuable for years to come. Gallardo is also on a pretty solid team that can supply some run support. I would only be concerned about the Brewers shutting him down early because of his innings and his young arm.
