My Ellsbury for Lester/Harden? WHIR

Postby master_herm » Sat Aug 01, 2009 1:09 am

12-team mixed; I'm realllly soft on pitching as you can see, and I've been getting tons of steals w/o Ellsbury:

My team:
C: Montero
1B: Pujols
2B: Utley
3B: ARod
SS: Hanley
OF: Soriano
OF: Ellsbury
OF: Ludwick
Util: Granderson
Util: Aramis Ramirez
Util: J. Rivera

SP: Richmond
SP: Blanton
RP: Bailey
RP: Lidge
P: Jim Johnson
P: Happ
P: De La Rosa
Bench: Rzepczynski
Bench: Cecil
Bench: Gaudin
Bench: Buchholz
DL: Lilly
DL: Duscherer
DL: Bedard

Do I pull this deal to help out my pitching, and if I do, who do I drop? Thanks.

hell yeah do this deal... thats a huge upgrade Lester is a stud and Harden has had some real good starts since the ASB with some bad breaks... i think hes underselling Harden a bit, but better for you! i think you win it and should take it!!

help me out...

Jump all over this one. Lester is the ace you desperately need right now and Harden's at least got the upside to give you some good starts. I'd drop Rzepczynski.

If you've been getting lots of steals without Ellsbury, I'd do this. I will forever cringe seeing three of the Blue Jays rookie SP in a rotation, so this deal really helps you out. As for who to drop, either Richmond, Cecil or Rzepczynski lol

I would do this all day long. You need the pitching and you can't get much better value for Ellsbury.

please help
