For the 3 or 4 people who haven't bailed on this site for the season ...

... do you have any new opinions on Cueto after his successful return. He's available in many leagues now (including the one I dropped him for de la Rosa). Sometimes, a few weeks off can get a guy's head straightened out. His pedigree and 1st half half tell us that he has the talent ... it's just a matter of putting it to use in games. Of course, there are a couple of caveats: 1) it was the Pirates ... barely above a AAA lineup, and the 2nd half of a double-header where some guys may be getting tired anyway, and 2) it's getting close (if not there already) for fantasy playoff time. 1 Cueto disaster can ruin the week, and put you on the fast-track to getting eliminated. At this point, is it worth it (at least without being way behind in ERA/WHIP anyways)?

I'm curious what people think too. I currently am thinking of ditching Scherzer for Cueto. I like Cueto's upside a little better, plus I think Scherzer may get shut down early.

any predictions on Cueto from here out? Can we expect a 3.2-3.7 ERA, or will it stay above 4?

He should not even be on the mound at this point in the season. It's criminal what Dusty is doing to this kid. He also ran ungodly hot in the first half. Don't pick him up unless your desperate for K's and have room to withstand your ratios being blown up.

I still got him and i'm fading fast with injuries to Mclouth and Santana. I guess i'll play him if he has a decent match up at this point what can I loose?

no reason to have him on your team.. don't let him destroy you in a playoff week. please don't do it.
