Need help with my 5th place team! WHIR

Postby CrawfordFan13 » Fri Jul 31, 2009 6:24 pm

It's a 10 man ESPN league. Head-2-Head. Stats are R, RBI, HR, AVG., SB, K, S, W, WHIP, ERA. I'm currently in 5th place after all this time (2nd in division). Everyone in the league is active, I want to know if there is anyone you think I should add, drop or whatever. I just need help, I don't understand why I'm in 5th, my team seems a lot better than that.

My team:
C: Joe Mauer
1B: Carlos Pena
2B: Robinson Cano
3B: David Wright
SS: Marco Scutaro
1B/3B: Evan Longoria
2B/SS: Troy Tulowitzki
OF: BJ Upton
OF: Vernon Wells
OF: Carl Crawford
OF: Nyjer Morgan
OF: Juan Rivera
UTIL: Brandon Inge

P: Roy Oswalt
P: Francisco Rodriguez
P: Carlos Zambrano
P: Matt Garza
P: Brian Wilson
P: Huston Street
P: Max Scherzer
P: Kevin Gregg
P: Pick up a new starter every day

Bench:
Orlando Hudson
Jorge Posada
Casey Blake

Notable FA's in our league (all players owned by 70% or more of leagues on ESPN.com):
Adam LaRoche
JJ Hardy
Francisco Rodney
Scott Baker

Well wright hasnt given you power, Pena is batting 215, Wells is iffy at times, inge and upton are batting 250 that prob hurts you in your league...
You got some serious avg killers..Oswalt has not been the best either.

You might want to look in a trade that you give up on upton, crawford or morgan for some more power in the OF...

Take a look at my team
