Yeah but beng a Padres fan for many years and watching himpitch is very cringe inducing, he has been very lucky not to tear his shoulder apart yet. I know the Padres indicated that he may be shut down the rest of the year but tht may be so they could let him fully eal to try and trad him in the winter and not to embarass him the rest of ths year with our pathetic squad. I think maybe there wasa backroom deal that gave Peavey a bonus to finally accept this trade to the Sox, since someone was actually going to pay for damaged goods.
