LaRoche for Kotchman, that trade makes ZERO sense for both sides. Kotchman was under contract for 2 more years, now the Braves have to find another 1b for next year.

As a LaRoache owner in a deep NL only league that deal is the best trade (for me) of the day!! LaRoche went from worthless when the Sox got VMart to worth a lot. Oh, and the guy ahead of me in first place has Kotchman! Priceless!

Oh, I agree stupid trade for the Braves in the real world.

Did anyone else hear that a pretty significant reason for ATL doing this was that Cox and Kotchman didn't get along?
