Keith Law says it's not Alonso. Oh well.

it'll be Encarnacion, Josh Roenicke, and Zach Stewart heading to Toronto according to John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Roenicke is a major league reliever...and I don't know who Zach Stewart is.

Stewart is a AAA pitcher who was on firstinning.com's top 100 midseason prospects list

Thank the good lord it wasn't Alonso. Reds would've lost a fan today and I'd be trying to decide on a new name around here. :-b

But why did the Reds make this move?

At least you can rationalize cutting payroll from the Jays perspective.

Well, heard on local radio that Reds might be getting cash from the Blue Jays as well.

how will Rolen do in 2010..
will he be like he is this season?
OR
will he be like he was in 2008 and 2007?

if he is more like the player from 2008/2007, the Reds are going to wish they hadnt made the trade.. unless theyve really become fed up with Encarnacion.
