Rosenthal says it's for Encarnacion and a minor leaguer.

Yeah...the Jays are cutting payroll. Trading Halladay would be the right thing to do at this point. Encarnacion is simply a significant dropoff from Rolen, both offensively and defensively.

i used to think Encarnacion was a good young player to go get, someone with good power potential. i didnt know about his defense and honestly still dont really know anything about it other than people say its not good.

Encarnacion AND Alonso?
i saw yesterday Reds fans not even wanting to give up Alonso period.

no way, you serious? what exactly is Cincy thinking by trading a younger and less $$ EE (granted yes hes struggled alot but still) for an aging injury prone high $$ 3B and also giving up a top prospect in the orginization at the same time... wow...
