Why in the world do the Reds need is salary, his age, and injury history. If they only traded Edwin and got money back I guess I'd be okay with it.

Alonso would be a steep price to pay in a salary dump I would think. Maybe EE involved?

It was either this off season or the last one, they were discussing moving EE to LF.
