Source?
I've heard it numerous times now on other message boards but I'm looking for a concrete source. It could be nothing. Not sure yet.
What other message boards?

Hagadone is one of Boston's better pitching prospects. This is a much better deal for the Tribe than Cliff Lee going to Philly.

It would make sense though....
Interesting scenario. I was just curious as to where you saw it.

He is no longer in the upper tier though. The one that hurts in this deal is Masterson.

I have Bowden, Kelly, Tazawa and Pimental above Hagadone, and that's before you even get to Hagadone coming off TJ. He's a decent prospect but not on of their "better pitching prospects".

Here's a link on LaRoche to the Mets, don't know how reliable it is though.

You've got to give to get. They couldn't exactly get V-mart for a bucket of balls now lol. Masterson's a nice player but he couldn't get LHB out anymore, plus to me he doesn't profile as anything more than a back of the rotation guy.

Now MLBTR says the Braves have interest in LaRoche.

Uhh...wouldn't being in the top 5 still make him one of the better pitching prospects?

I mean...he was rated as the #3 overall guy in their system by Baseball America heading into this season.
In his short minor league career, the guy has great peripherals (12.0 K/9, 4.0 BB/9, 0.2 HR/9), and from all accounts, his stuff is also great. Seems like a pretty high ceiling prospect to me.
