Rolled his ankle sliding into second, boy did that look painful.

After the play had ended, Ramirez writhed on the turf in pain after catching his right ankle on the hard slide. White Sox athletic trainer Herm Schneider and Guillen came out to check on him, and Ramirez limped off the field under his own power. Although the White Sox won't know the extent of the injury until Thursday, Guillen did not believe it was serious.
"He was walking around when we went back to the dugout," Guillen said.

According to the Chicago Tribune, "White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez couldn't predict when he would return but felt fortunate that he didn't break his right ankle on a slide at second base Wednesday night at the Metrodome. First, I'm glad it wasn't as serious as I originally thought," Ramirez said late Thursday night. "When it happened, I really thought it was a break or fracture. But it isn't. It's just a minor injury. And hopefully I started working on it and doing some things on it (Thursday afternoon) and hopefully I can get back as soon as possible."
Ramirez said he was diagnosed with a stretched ligament and is treating it with antibiotics and ice. He also has been working in a pool and reported he has been able to put pressure on the foot. "I don't want to say one thing or the other as far as returning," Ramirez said. "I'm paying attention to how my heel feels. "It isn't 100 percent from last night, but it's a marked difference." Had Ramirez been placed on the disabled list, Brent Lillibridge would have taken his spot on the roster."
Fri, Jul 31 Ramirez (ankle) will not need to go on the DL, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Recommendation: The team had Brent Lillibridge in town just in case, but they sent him back to Triple-A Charlotte when Ramirez's x-rays came back negative. Jayson Nix should see time at short in Ramirez's absence. Manager Ozzie Guillen optimistically predicted a Sunday return. (Rotowire.com)
I'm guessing it'll be Monday or Tuesday, but Sunday sounds good to me too.
