whats the deal with Jim Thome missing a 2nd straight game?
Quentin is DH tonight.
i can understand missing a game here and there to give Quentin a game at DH, but i dotn think he should miss 2 straight games, unless he has some sort of an injury ..which i have not seen reported.

well i can answer my own question after checking out rototimes.com

Jim Thome is not in the White Sox lineup on Tuesday. He will be replaced as the team's DH by Carlos Quentin for tonight's game.

Our View: Thome is dealing with some back soreness, and he is expected to be out until Thursday. He has 17 homers this season, so owners shouldn't be worried about him being out of the lineup too often when healthy. He should be a safe play on Thursday, but check back to make sure.
