I give: A. Hill (23rd rd) + D. Price (12th rd)
I get: J. Verlander (13th)
I am trying to move some bench spots for pitching, and I am thinking of offering this deal to another owner. Do you think the other owner would be interested? Do you think I'm giving up too much? Any input would be appreciated.
10 team, H2H keeper league (keep 8 - lose the rd the player was drafted in). If a player is dropped and picked up by a separate team, then only a 23rd rd pick must be forfeited to keep the player. For example, a team dropped N. Cruz (14th rd pick) before the season started. I picked up Cruz and have kept him ever since. Too keep him for next year, I only have to give up a 23rd pick.
7x7 w/ OPS, H and QS, K/9 as the extra categories.
My team: (rd I have to forfeit to keep player for next year).
C: Doumit (23)
1B: Pujols (1)
2B: B. Roberts (4)
3B: A. Rod (5)
SS: Tulo (8)
OF: J. Upton (15)
OF: N. Cruz (23)
OF: H. Pence (23)
UTIL: Prince (2)
BN: J. Bruce (9), Aramis Ramirez (5), A. Hill (23)
DL: Vlad Guerrero (23rd)
SP: AJ Burnett (10)
SP: Gallardo (11)
RP: M. Gonzalez (16)
RP: M. Scherzer (14)
P: Bedard (13)
P: Kershaw (17)
P: Wandy Rod (23)
D. Price (12), G. Floyd (23), T. Hanson (23), Liriano (7)
Obviously D. Price will not be a keeper for me. And I don't think A. Hill will be either. My keepers will probably be: Pujols (1), A. Rod (5), J. Upton (15), Gallardo (11), Kershaw (17), T. Hanson (23), N. Cruz (23) and then I have one more open spot to pick, Probably H. Pence (23) as that's good value.
I could also target Nolasco, E. Jackson or Greinke. And I could use Aramis Ramirez as trade bait as well, as my opp could use a better 3B IMO.
Here's my Opp. roster:
C: V. Martinez
1B: A. Dunn
2B: Scutaro
3B: A. Gordon
SS: Cabrera
OF: Abreu
OF: Lind
OF: Hawpe
UTIL: Victorino
BN: Konerko, Uggla, BJ Upton, L. Scott
SP: Kuroda
SP: R. Hill
RP: Broxton
RP: Ramirez
P: E. Jackson
P: F. Rodney
P: J. Verlander
BN: Z. Greinke, Nolasco, Blackburn
DL: C. Young
