Arod/Dice K for David Wright and a SP

Postby Padres Fan » Mon Jul 27, 2009 12:51 pm

I am in a 11 team ESPN Roto Keeper league, I would like to upgrade my pitching slightly and thought about offering my Dice K/AROD for David Wright and a combination of either Matt Cain, Jon Lester or Yovani Gallardo.

Should I do this trade? and if so what pitcher should I get?

if you can get Cain and Wright, I'd go for it... but otherwise keep ARod.
Thanks for the help with mine.

Wouldn't do this. Just replace Price with Duke and stay as is. No reason to trade A-Rod and no reason to upgrade your pitching.

i am torn on this. i have Wright myself and havent been happy with him overall. i know i know, his AVG and SB are good, but thats not what i drafted him for. however in a keeper, it might be a good move. who knows how Arod's hip will hold up for the next year or so.. and the mets lineup should be back to normal and provide wright more RBI ops and protection.

i think i lean towards doing it. as far as the pitcher goes, i have all 3 between 2 leagues...... i honestly cant choose one. they all have their strong points and potential. to me, cain is the most polished and consistent one. but i just love gallardo... take your pick.

I like all 3 pitchers for next year. That said, I'd go with cain because of his division and the park he calls home.

I'd do this if you're able to land Cain and Wright for ARod and Dice K.
