A Gonzalez for Berkman

Should I trade Adrian Gonzalez for Lance Berkman? I am concerned with Adrian's prolonged slump and that teams will simply walk him the remainder of the year. Berk's injury looks minor and I think his upside is better than A Gonzalez for the rest of the season. Thoughts? WHIR.

Wait till after the MLB trade deadline passes.

Theo (Red Sox GM) supposedly turned down a deal that would send Buchholz to the Indians for Victor Martinez.

There is some speculation that the Sox got LaRoch to flip him in a later trade with the Padres for Gonzo...

If the red sox put a package together including Buchholz and a few other prospects to land Gonzo (which they may do now that they are struggling mightily offensively and Theo is under pressure)...

This is all speculation of course. But it has been in the news here around Boston.
