11 team 5X5 Roto...

Just traded Adrian Gonzalez, Rafael Furcal and Clay Buchholz for Josh Beckett, Derek Lowe and Miguel Tejada. So have an empty DH spot and need to drop a SP to fill it. Have 3 bench spot, so who should I drop from my staff and who should I pick up?

I would drop Pettitte or Niemann and pick up Johnson or Teahan (I would have said Rasmus except I don't know how much his playing time will decrease with the acquisition of Holliday).

Thanks for help on mine. Follow up questions: would your opinion change if it was Lowe/Danks for Lee instead of Lowe/Shields for Lee?

Some may disagree, but I don't really like Petitte, so I'd lean towards dropping him.

From the FA's you listed, I like Reimold. He's got a lot of potential and the upside is what I look for. As the previous poster said, Rasmus will probably lose playing time, so that puts Reimold to the top for me.

Thanks for the help with mine...

i'd cut either feldman or pettitte for either teahen(1b, 3b, OF eligibility in a deep league), johnson(hitting well), Encarnacion(lot of upside in a hitters park) or Rasmus(see Encarnacion, but his playing time might get cut a bit with holliday in town)

personally id dump Feldman and grab Howie Kendrick for now but Id keep an eye on AGordon as he could emerge as a nice 2nd half player if he can put it together. Short term though, Kendricks gotta figure it out and start hitting again... i also like Butler but he hasnt shown much power, solid RBIs and BA though... obviously if Pierre goes to another team where hell start, thats a nobrainer

hope i helped rather than complicated things! :-o ;-D

i'd drop pettite and pick up teahen or reimold. teahen doesn't get the respect he should in fantasy in my opinion. i have him and play him in my OF spot every week. he's mr. consistent, and he plays every day.

help me please: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=394521
