He's offered to give me Sizemore and Markakis for Braun. I really like Braun and want to make sure that I don't turn this down just because of that. What do you think? Should I do this? If not, do you see a good counter offer?
in a keeper league i say yes for sure... in a non keeper league i may decline, Sizemore has been terrible this year by the standards hes been put on and i just hesitate because Markakis is a stud, but hes not nearly at the level that Braun is, so if Sizemore sucks it up the rest of the way you basically are shooting yourself in the foot... if you wanted to tho i may think about countering with something like Braun/Greinke/Scherzer for Markakis/Carpenter/Beckett/Cain... im not so sure about Sizemore for the 2nd half, but in a keeper his value climbs big time... if you think Sizemore will turn it around even just a little bit then do it, but if you have your doubts about Grady then stand pat with Braun and his power bat in the middle of that good brewcrew lineup...
I wouldn't do it. With Sizemore and the Indians realizing that he needs surgery on that elbow, it probably won't be long before they shut him down and get it fixed so he is 100% for the start of next year, leaving you with a trade of Braun for Markakis.

I'm considering offering Jones, Rios, and Floyd for Adrian Gonzalez. I can pick up Gutierrez as a free agent. There are a number of decent free agents to replace Rios and Floyd: Willingham, Beckham, Stewart, Fowler, Cuddyer, Reimold; Blanton, Danks (if he clears waivers - was just released), Volstad, Rzepczynski, Buchholz, etc.
