Jurrjens and Yoga for Votto and Qualls -- WHIR

My Jurrjens and Yoga
for
His Voto and Qualls

I don't really need to closer help, but I do like me some Joey Votto. I think Yoga and Jurrjens is way too much to give up though. Do I scrap the deal and live with Pena, hoping he starts to hit again soon?

I'd hold onto Gallardo as a potential keeper. Would you keep Votto? It looks like you might. I really like Votto, too. Maybe sub in Jason Marquis, trying to sell him high?

I like Votto a lot, but Qualls could have zero value come the trade deadline. He might be a setup man somewhere. Then the deal is Votto for Jurrjens and Gallardo...that's a terrible deal.

Please help:

Yeah, I agree. Votto is a monster, but may not be worth giving up Jurrjens & Gallardo for. I'd see if you can get a better, more valuable piece instead of qualls.

Yep - stick with Yoga and Jurr, both of whom are pretty nasty. Votto's great and all, but not worth the deal, especially if you don't need Qualls' closer help much. Pena will heat up - he has to, right?

no deal for me either... but don't you think you should be a little more concerned about your OF situation then if Pena will heat back up? to me id be looking to upgrade on both your #2 and #3 OFer, or at least on just Hart, thats a shaky looking OF moving forward, so i might try and shoot for a OFer to boost your production, btw whats the value on 2baggers around your league, as you have both Utley and Cano? Cano in himself should warrant a nice OFer in return and combo him lets say with Jurrjens and Hart and sell the name value out of Hart to try to score a big bat OFer and a replacement UTIL guy... btw whos on your WW as IMO Fowler and Gordon could hit the road...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

too much for votto. that said, i'd counter with hart and jurrjens for votto. you could also shop utley for a huge return and play cano at 2b.

What about Holliday instead of Votto? My only concern with trading both Jurrjens and Yoga is my pitching depth, which has kept me in it so far this season.

I like Holliday as a better upgrade than Votto. How about Jurrjens, Gallardo, and Hart for Holliday, Votto and Qualls? Is that getting greedy?

I'd take the keeper bat of Votto over YoGa and Jair but Qualls isnt a keep so that factors in
