H2H league. Need a spot starter for this weekend. Have narrowed the choices down to:

Jeff Neimann @ TOR

Chad Gaudin @ WAS

Neimann seems to be a little stronger lately, but faces the TOR offense. Gaudin has pitched reasonably well but lost to FLA earlier this week and faces the low-powered Nationals.

What do you think?

my choice would be Gaudin

Go with Gaudin because he gets better numbers and faces Washington, (.234 avg in last week and .222) team avg since break..

I like niemann. Not that I like either one particularly, but the Padres have won 3 games this entire month - morale has gotta be lower than low. In addition, Jeff has pitched better than Chad of late.

Every time I think about adding Gaudin and his facial hair, it seems like he has an implosion.

The K's are attractive but he'll get ZERO run support and is too inconsistent for my taste.

I'll take the Rays and Neimann.
