I feel like I have the pieces on my team to get Hanley. I am just not sure it is worth it. I know he is the top SS and arguably the top player in baseball, so I figure I can go after him.
Any combo of these (even 3 for 1) Guys I was thinking offering for Hanley: Tex, Sizemore, Bay, Hill, Tulo maybe even Haren.
Do you see any offer that may jump out??

I think it depends on what the other guys goals are for this year, and whether or not he is competing for the title.
Blindly, I'd say that you have a shot with Tex, Haren and Bay. Of the three, I assume you would only consider keeping Tex. Who would keep if you could swing Hanley?
I do not think Tex, Hill and Sizmore hurts my chances this year, nor do I feel it is too much to pay. Hill will never make my starting roster. I can put Votto in place of Tex and Sizemore is having a bad year and may get shut down. I actually do not think it will be enough.
I Do not want to do Tex, Haren and Bay b/c I feel i should get more than Hanley for those 3 guys. Trading these 3 guys would hurt my team too much
Ok the guy offered me Hanley, A Ramirez and K Rod for Haren, Tex and Utley. I am actually a little offended by this offer but would like to counter. I do not need Hanley b/c Tulo is playing well at SS but in a keeper he would be nice to have. I like my keepers and besides Hanley or Pujos would not trade any of them.

Wow that offer is bad. Looking at that do you think he would do the Teix / Hill / Sizemore offer?
I would go ahead and counter with it. Votto is a great first baseman, and your potential keepers for next year could be Hanley Ramirez, David Wright, and Alex Rodriquez.
If you make the trade to get Hanley, why not try to upgrade your outfield position? I doubt you can start both Wright and Arod at third so why not trying to ship one of them out of Braun or a young stud keeper like that?
May have paid too much but I just traded Tex, Hill and Haren for Hanley and Wolf. I knew I would have to pay alot for Hanley with this being a keeper and I have Votto to fill in for Tex. It may have been a mistake to trade Tex with his huge second half numbers but Hanley is a great keeper. I do not think Haren is going to pitch great in the second half and he has started to show signs of falling off. Do you think I way over paid??

well, i was going to say not to overpay for hanley, but i just read that you already did the deal. i personally wouldn't have done it, but in the end, you may be satisfied since he's a keeper. i would have offered tex and hill or tex and tulowitzki for hanley. hopefully, you'll be okay the rest of this year. good luck!
