Any other thoughts? Especially about that last list? I am thinking of going for a fourth or fifth keeper (we keep three) and potentially trading numbers 3-5 for a better keeper on other teams that have given up on the season. (Note: their keepers have not been listed here).

Definitely Longoria. There's no way Branyon should be a keeper! After Longoria, I'd go for Greinke and Hill.

Thanks all for the advice. Unfortunately, the question was not which player to go after, but if any of them were worth going after. Longoria I tried for and is unattainable. I have put out offers for Hill and Greinke. Would anyone else be worth going for?

I like Longoria and Greinke for their prices, but I believe it would be difficult to obtain either. Same goes for Aaron Hill for $6 and even if he regresses, it's great business for the other guy to keep him.

So I made the following trade (2010 protectable proces listed):

Miguel Cabrera (37)
Nick markakis (35)
Jason bay (33)
Mark Ellis (6)

FOR

Kendry Morales (6)
Magglio Ordonez (21)
Aaron Hill (6)

and then signed Matt LaPorta, who I may deal if he gets hot before Aug 25 (league trade deadline) (6)

I am going to still try for Greinke, and then may look at one more team to see what is left. I will post when I look at that. Thanks to everyone for all their help.
