Big trade.. Which player so I trade?

Postby plainyogurt » Wed Jul 22, 2009 5:18 pm

So I am in first place in my 10 team 5x5 league.. I either have 9 or 10 points in all offensive categories... I have 5 points in era and whip. And 7 in wins and k's...

My ci's are youk, miggy, fielder, berkman, and dunn(in OF).

Which ci should I trade for a top notch SP? Should I ask for the sp and little offense in return?

Should I stay put and don't fix anything since I'm in first?
My sp are wainwright, lilly, kershaw, nolasco, and bucholz...Hudson and dice on dl

Thanks!

Seems pretty obvious you should try to deal Dunn or Berkman. You do know exactly what Dunn is going to do, but Berkman is underperforming and its only an assumption he will turn things around. I imagine in a 10 team league there's plenty of quality on the free agent list....but if trading is your decision, I'd go with one of those two.

Can I get your thoughts on this?

I think I would try and trade Dunn, just not having him will help you in Avg and if you get a good arm in return you can improve even more. You should be able to target a top 10-20 SP in return.

Please help.
