Not sure how breaking a law equates to cheating in a sport (though I'm sure many athletes manage to obtain prescriptions).

Very true. But if it takes Bill James to make people take the arguments seriously, I'm fine with that.
Just got done reading a book on the very subject, with most of the major ideas coming from James himself, although non written by him.

I think that either no one should take steroids or everyone should take steroids. That way no one would have an unfair advantage.
