The trade is I would get:
1B-Miguel Cabrera
OF-Curtis Granderson
RP-Heath Bell
SP-Kevin Correia
for
SP-Tim Lincecum
1B-Kevin Youkilis
OF-Nyjer Morgan
OF-Carlos Quentin
I'm in last place, so I was hoping to make a deal to improve my struggling offense. As hard as it would be to lose Lincecum, my hope was that the production from Cabrera would boost my offense for years to come. However, I'm not sold on the other players involved...I don't really have a need another relief pitcher (unless Capps is definitely being traded and won't be a closer down the stretch) or low-tier starter like Correia, so in essence I'd be giving Youk, Morgan, and Quentin for Granderson. Not exactly a good move to improve my overall offense. Am I being overly apprehensive, or does this look like a bad trade for me?
I'm in a Yahoo, H2H keeper league with 12 teams.
Offensive categories are R, RBI, HR, BB, K, FPct, BA, OPS, NSB...Pitching categories are W, L, CG, BB, K, WHIP, ERA, NSV
