I like the deal for you. jones has been raking of late, pena replaces one of the two bats you lose, and hamels enables you to move gallardo for offensive help if you so choose.

I keep coming back to this post and staring at it. Making a decision, I'd do it, but its close. Im not big on quick starts like the one from Jones, and Pena has been fairly disappointing in the BA department, and has slowed down after a quick start. Hamels has been really inconsistent, but with that offense behind him I learn towards liking him more than not.

Help with mine please:

Thanks for the help with mine. This is a tough decision for me, but I think I'd do it. Quentin and Ramirez should put up pretty good numbers since they're finally 'healthy". But Hamels could potentially get back to his ace form and Pena will provide some solid offense.

I'd advise buying low on Hamels but I think don't think you're getting a good price here. You're going to leave yourself a sizable hole in the OF (assuming G. Jones isn't the natural). If anything I think you're selling a little low on Aramis and CQ who although are injury concerns, have yet to get settled in after their DL stints.

since you're last in power, i think this deal would put a bigger dent in the power category for you. i don't think you're getting enough for quentin and aram. jones has been hot, but he is platooning with maggs, and maggs hit a grand slam tonight. if you're going to deal quentin and aram, then i think you have to get a better option. hamels would be a good addition, but your pitching is not shabby now. it might be better to target offense.

thanks for your input on mine.

Jones plays for PIT, youre thinking of Clete Thomas.

I'd probably do this deal, but see if you can get something back instead of Garrett Jones. He'll cool off soon.
