Been offered a 16th round pick in next years draft for Gordon Beckham. I don't really have a use for him (see roster below), so I've just been holding him to potentially trade him. Is a 16th round fair value, or should I be looking to get a higher pick? Roster and league info below. Thanks in advance!

one more thing to add. Here is his roster. If I don't go for a pick, is there anything here I should go for to help me for this year? He's already said that he won't move any of his SP unless I send Votto.

i'd wait for a higher draft pick. or try to offer beckham plus votto for wainwright and branyan if you really want a pitcher. otherwise, i'd sit tight.

thanks for helping me.

I agree, I think he's gonna be a good one. Hold out for a higher pick. Thanks for the help with mine.

Sorry, but that would be a terrible deal for him. If he's dealing Beckham AND Votto, then one of Beckett/Greinke/Lester better be coming back to him.

ps. don't deal Beckham for a 16th rounder, the kid is playing great and could turn into a big time star. Sit tight unless the offers get MUCH better than that one.

A 16th round pick? His upside screams to reject that offer.

I'd hang onto him. Jeter isn't getting any younger, and he'd be a nice fill-in for him this year. And if he is SS eligible next year, he may be golden. Right now is not the time to sell...he's just starting to heat up.

I'd hang on to Beckham. Looks like he's going to be as good as advertised.
