id really like to see how Pods PT is adjusted once Carlos comes back also, but i would think that seens how Pods is hitting nicely and swiping bags that they would figure out how to keep him atop that lineup... i really do not think Bourn keeps up this mid .280s average the whole year, i mean this is a guy that batted .229 last year, thats a huge jump and hes already Ked 80 times so far this year on pase for 150-160... i like pods, but wouldn't dump unless you have to until you see how his PT is effected...
that's tough, but i think i'd go with bourn. their numbers are similar, except bourn gets more at-bats and stolen bases. podsednik will probably hit for a higher avg. and more homers. it depends on what you need.
this isnt even a question. bourn is far more valuable. he's on pace for 110 runs, 60 steals and a .285 average. i see no reason why he shouldnt keep that up. speed doesn't go into a slump and it's not that hard for a very fast runner to have a babip close to .340. he can easily hit .275 the rest of the way with similar run and steal production.
compare bourn's stats to ellsbury's (or vintage juan pierre). bourn all the way.

As an astros fan, i'm biased, but give me bourn any day of the week. He is one of the best base stealers in baseball, scores a ton of runs with lee, tejada, berkman and pence behind him, and his average is no fluke(he's learned how to use all fields).
