I'm in a standard, 9-team, non-keeper 5x5 roto. I'm 3rd in steals but no hope of catching 2nd. I'm 9 ahead of 4th and 16 ahead of 5th. I'm basically in a 3-way tie for 2nd in runs, and I'm 5th in HR with about the saem cushion in front as I have behind. I'm basically tied for 6th in AVG, but 7th is about as worse as I can do there.
Should I give my Roberts/Morgan for Dunn/Tejada? I'll return all help, thanks.
My roster:
9-Team, Non-Keeper Standard 5x5 Roto
C Posada 1B Berkman 2B Roberts 3B Sandoval SS Tulowitzki 2B/SS Uggla 1B/3B Helton OF Braun OF Dye OF Victorino UTIL Cruz Bench N. Morgan Bench M. Lowell DL Beltran
SP Beckett, Verlander, Vasquez, Oswalt, Wandy RP Broxton, Nathan, Street, Downs, Bailey (4 RP slots, Bailey goes in one of 5 SP slots)
I would do it, the hit in AVG is not that bat since Tejada is hitting .324 and Dunn is hitting a respectable .265 (which is excellent by his standards) you will lose 40-60 stolen bases and may get 20 form the 2 you are getting but boost your power numbers.\
Im not so sure to do this. I would rather have Tulo than Tejada, and where would Dunn start when Berkman and Helton are starting to heat up? It will help you in homers and ribbies, but you will defiantly lose steals and avg. If you are willing to make that trade hr/rbi for sb/avg then do it. But outside of Morgan and Roberts you have Victorino to steal...
I would definitely do this deal. Roberts is a stud but you are helping your power numbers immensely with this deal and Dunn is having a great year and again is guaranteed 40 dingers. I like this one a lot actually and woulld much rather have the Dunn side.
