I was considering picking up Rzepcznski. Other guys available include Smoltz, Manny Parra, Jorge De La Rosa, Mat Latos, and also Sergio Mitre. I feel Latos is the weakest. I read that the Yankees offense can make the Mitre, the Tommy John survivor, a winner and a sleeper for all leagues immediately. He has been good before and has been great in the minors to date. Do you feel Rzepcznski can be better than these guys?!

I just picked up Parra and Rzepczynski in the league I mentioned in the article. Out of your options, I like Smoltz the best, then Rzepczynski, then Parra.

I nabbed the 'ski as soon as he cleared waivers on Yahoo in 20 team dynasty league. Sure, I was in need of some starting pitching, but at every stop he's looked quite good. Gets most of his outs on K's and grounders. After his last start against Boston, he's worth a look in smaller leagues.

Like madden_curser, I just want to commend you on everything you do around here. Yer not a bad writer either - care to write a basketball article or two next season?
