Damon for Oz

Postby MassYankee » Sun Jul 19, 2009 8:47 pm

I was offered Damon for Oz. My OFs are Hamilton, Morgan, Ross, Garrett Jones, Cuddyer, Inge (playing C while Soto is on DL), with Beltran on DL. My SPs are Halladay, Hanson, Buehrle, Josh Johnson and Oz. So I'd like to move a SP for solid bat

We all know Oz is a second half stud. Not sure if Damon will continue his numbers.

Good enough deal, or hold out for more? (I'm 5th out of 15 right now)

I think that's a good trade for you. I'm really not a big Oz fan anymore because he doesn't K as much as he used to. Tough to see Damon keep it up, but with the new stadium, he just might.

I think you can take the hit on the pitching and upgrade your OF. Go for it. ;-D

Taking Damon would give you a boost in the OF spot, I would pull the trigger on that deal. Should work out for you in the long run.
