Another owner offered me this deal. I guess I'm a little hesitant because I'd be trading 2 of my main LFs and I'd have to rely on Willingham there or retrading some leftover pieces. Ludwick has been getting hot but I'm not sure if that's a trend for the 2nd half or just a flash in the pan streak. I've been getting worried lately about DeRosa playing through a wrist that will need surgery, doesn't seem to bode well for his production down the stretch. I was also thinking that Figgins main impact (sbs) is something that I'm not in a great need for with Upton, Shane, Rollins, Phillips, and my other bench pieces. Am I thinking too hard here? Leave a link and I'll help out.

Ludwick's hot streak has started...and for me that's a sign of things to come. DeRosa's wrist doesn't scare me as much as others. Yes he'll need surgery eventually, but it didn't take him long to comeback. Plus he's hitting in front of Pujols (last i heard). He's guaranteed to see some good pitches. Figgins doesn't seem like he'd help your lineup as much as the other two. I'd stay put.

thanks for the help on mine

If you don't need the SBs, and it looks like you don't, I would not do this deal. I would definitely be looking to trade DeRosa, since players who put off surgery are almost never as productive as they should be. I would look for the player who would help me my weakest category every week, which in your case might be one more SP.

i'd stay put with your league counting OPS. batting behind pujols means good things for ludwick.

In a H2H with OPS a factor, this reduces Figgins' value while enhancing any contributions Ludwick makes. I'd take the Ludwick side here.
