I'd hold off for a better return. As you stated Soriano has been lights out and looks to have stolen the role from M.Gonz. Duke while sneaky solid won't help you much with wins. You could probably shoot for more with Soriano.

I agree with everyone else, Duke just isn't good enough for a closer. I don't think you could get a Carpenter or Oswalt for Soriano, but maybe someone like a Burnett or Lowe might be available, since you van afford to trade some SVs.

This is a tough call- but I'd say you can take the hit for Duke.

And as others say, it can't hurt to try asking for a better pitcher.
