I'll freely admit Njyer Morgan or Jhonny Peralta are better bets to win/lose the national spelling bee title for someone than a fantasy title this year, but for a team that just needs an extra UTIL player and has some SBs/Runs problems, which one do you take? The underperforming SS or the over his head Morgan?
I'm durn tempted to take Morgan here (he's the FA; I have Peralta on my bench behind AROD at 3B and Hanley at SS).
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply to my post....
I would take Captain Morgan here. Peralta has turned it back on recently a little but if you are in need of SB/runs then I would take Morgan over Peralta. Peralta's fat butt couldn't steal a base to save his life....lol
Good luck!

Please keep in mind that this is a keeper, and even though I have Hanley at SS and need my sole bench hitter to cover plenty positions (making Morgan's LF/CF/RF attractive), I do worry that I'm cutting a SS. Surely that's not the best circumstance even considering I have G_Becks in the minors.
Am I risking helping the Scutaro/Barmes/type owners too much?

I'd still take Morgan here. He fits your needs way better, and even if another owner snaps up Peralta and upgrades his team, well, so be it. Sometimes you have to drop good players to make room for better ones.

Morgan is definitely the answer....
He is gonna give you some runs, steal a tonne of bases for the Nats and not hurt you in .avg..... With Ramirez battling a lingering hip problem the need will increase even more.....

I did the deed in part because even though the FA SSs are bleak, Peralta isn't having a good year, and I can always promote G-Becks if need be.

Does anyone trust him enough to play Morgan over Aramis?

Aramis is going to be rounding into form... A-rod is going to get ultra hot it looks like... so I think it's tough to use a 1-2 cat helper over proven bats like that... However, if you have a daily lineup need you can be rewarded by doing some additional sleuthing regarding the matchups and whatnot.. For what it's worth... until A-ram shows the power has come back, I would be comfortable playing Morgan on a day-to-day basis simply because he is on fire right now!

Not that I'm complaining, but Aramis did homer for me last night
