I got offered Miggy for my Konerko and Hoffman. This may be a no brainer but how did I do with this trade?? I punted saves so the loss of hoffman doesnt matter to me. Any other ideas on moves I should make. Im in deep last and trying to save my season

Being in last and punting saves, I think that's a great deal for you. You get excellent value, and when you're way behind in the standings, it's nice to have that extra roster spot to take chances with.

It sucks being down in the standings, but it can still be fun -- you get to (actually, you have to) take chances. I don't know your league setup, but I'd guess it would also be a good move to drop Guzman for a speculative pickup with more upside. Maybe take a chance on high-ceiling pitchers (Buchholz, eg). Your hitters look solid, you just ran into a lot of bad luck (Aramis, Rollins, Hamilton, Manny, Grady) in the first half.

yes good trade, but you cant just punt saves. i would try to be active on the FA wire trying to get closers from now on.

What is the league type/settings? Punting saves works in some kind of of leagues, not so much in others.

Value wise, though, this is a home run deal for you. Nice work.
