Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I was just proposed this trade in my first year keeper league. My Aramis Ramirez for his Victor Martinez. It's a 6x6 league(standard plus doubles and IP) and this is my team:
C-Pierzynski
1B-Prince Fielder
2B-Brian Robers
3B-Aramis Ramirez
SS-Hanley Ramirez
OF-Johnny Damon, Ryan Ludwick, Jason Kubel
Util-Miguel Cabrera
BN-Cody Ross
BN-Russell Branyan
DL-Torii Hunter
Ramirez has done pretty much nothing since coming off the DL. We get 4 keepers in our league and 3 of mine are pretty clear(Prince, Hanley, Miguel) but I have been on the fence all season about it. Is Victor keeper quality or should I consider a pitcher(I have King Felix and Josh Johnson). I probably won't be able to trade Pierzynski so I will have to drop him and lose a little value there. Any help is appreciated, WHIR.

i would give aramis ramirex more time.. he was out for so long he needs time to catch up and he might hit mid season form as leagues go into the playoffs, while vmart seems to be getting worse

I agree. VMart is barely keeper quality. The only C Id keep is Mauer. Hold on to ARam a little longer, if the Cubs start hitting he will prob come around with them.
Help with mine please

Holy shhh, Aram will do nothing this year - he was just quoted as saying he won't be healthy and he just needs the offseason. He does not look good out there - stats wise and body language. Shoulder saps power hitters ability. I bet Branyan out performs Aram this year anyway.
Keeper or not Vmart for Aram you should do w/out blinking.

help?
This is correct. Ramirez will take awhile til he gets to full health. Martinez will bring more to the table for you.

The thing that scares me the most with Martinez is that when I look at his monthly splits and his game log you can see the rapid decline he has been on since May. He hit .240 in June is hitting .100 so far in July. He has 3 RBI since June 26th. What are your inclinations about his ability to pick himself up in the second half?

regardless of martinez's slump, i'd still do the deal. a shoulder injury is much more problematic what v-mart is going through.
