Werth, Becham and Wells available, do they help me? WHIR!!!!

Postby midwestpatsfan » Fri Jul 17, 2009 9:58 am

Just doing some mid season checking and I was wondering if Jason Werth, Beckham, or Wells would be upgrades on my team. Werth was just dropped for some reason so was thinking of pouncing on him, but for who? 10x10 roto league, 10 team league. I am in 3rd right now. I am low on runs and doubles and am getting killed by K's. Pitching seems okay, although I have a bad win loss record.
Here is my team as of today.

Lance Berkman
(Hou - 1B)
Ian Kinsler
(Tex - 2B)
Miguel Cabrera

RP Francisco Cordero
(Cin - RP)

Werth is the most interesting out of those 3. If you think he would start for you and not just ride the bench, I would get him. I dont like Wells.

I think you can drop Bergesen and pick up Werth easily. Werth has had a fantastic year. Even if no one else in the league wants him, he can fill an OF spot for you and let you trade one of your other OFs

help? viewtopic.php?t=393825 for a better SP than Bergesen.

Pick up Werth for Bergesen, then try to trade Ellsbury to a team needing speed for another starting pitcher.
