Exactly.....in response to your last post "tireur".....the dude has Pujols and is still on the bubble!!!....hahahahaha

That's what I don't really understand about this Cafe or Fantasy Sports in general.....People pay extreme prices for guys like Pujols and Hanley when the next guy down from each of them produces almost just as much and cost over half the price!!! (I will never understand it)!

In your situation though I absolutely think Tex is right up there in value comparison (when he is on) but not quite the same level.....that is why I think the original offer was ok but I don't think EJax and Verlander should be involved. Jones and Markakis are both slumping right now and both had started slumping around the same time (Markakis first and Jones second).....but we all know that Markakis is primed for a really nice 2nd half (I hope so since I own him in one of my leagues)....and Jones, well.....we just don't know!

I think Tex/Cano/Jones is more than fair for Pujols/Markakis but if he doesn't like that then I would try throwing in Garza and basically that's as far as I would go without "Shooting for the Sky" or whatever you all call it!....LOL

If some (meaning this guy) value Alexei or Zobrist over Cano then offer up Alexei instead of Cano but with the rest the same. I personally value Cano over either one since he is more proven, plays for a better team (T-Bay is pretty good though but definately better then the Sox), and he is a 2nd half player and is ripe to go off in the 2nd half which as Zobrist most have him in a decline and Alexei....who knows and who cares but he will probably play like he started the 1st half......like crap!!!....lol

Good luck with the trade but I wouldn't overpay for the top guy in any position when I can get the 2nd or 3rd best for half the price! The STATS don't warrant the Pay!!!
