1st veto ever- Fielder/BJ Upton for Bay/Beckett

see, i hate team owners who have there opinon on players values and decide that a trade that 2 teams make is vetoable because you don't like the trade. well see i don't like UPTON at all, i don't think that there has ever been someone so over hyped.... so you see what i am saying because i think upton is garbage that trade would look like bay and beckett for fielder... and thats a good trade for both teams.... see what i mean..... veto's are only for colusion and thats it, it is not there for owners to decide that a deal is no good for the other owner, we all pay to play run your team and they'll run thiers....

What people don't realize is that vetoing isn't there to keep trades balanced, it's to keep them fair. It's to keep a guy from trading his best players to a friend who's higher in the standings, not to keep someone from honestly winning a trade.
If there's no evidence of collusion or underhandedness, there's no reason to veto.

Guys -- Read the date on the post. He ask about this July, 2009 and you are still commenting on it. Odds are the league isn't even around anymore.

go back into last year's league and veto it immediately. then write all owners that the standings have changed from last year's league

hopefully this changes payouts and gets one guy really pissed that he has to pay back any winnings
