Trying to get a quality SP with good K/9 to replace Peavy (tears). Other team is offering Javier Vazquez, Clayton Kershaw or Scherzer. Is Beltran worth Vazquez at this point?
C: Inge 1B: Carlos Pena 2B: Utley 3B: Figgins SS: Jeter CI: Jose Lopez MI: Howie Kendrick OF: Ibanez OF: Lind OF: Markakis OF: Willingham OF: Hart UTIL: Chris B. Young
Bench: Reimold, Prado, Thames, Beltran (DL) Alex Gordon
P: Scott Baker P: Jered Weaver P: Ted Lilly P: Randy Johnson P: Joba Chamberlain P: Dallas Braden P: Rick Porcello P: Paul Maholm P: Fuentes P: Mike Gonzalez P: Raffy Soriano P: Mike MacDougal

I'm in second place by about 5 points in my league. My ERA, WHIP and K's are going to start falling off as I'm presently 65 innings over. My current plan is to grab someone like Vazquez, and then trade away Scott Baker to get JP Howell. That way my ratios get lower, my K rate spikes and I can manage my innings.

The rest of my OF looks like this:
Ibanez, Lind, Markakis, Willingham, Hart
Bench: Chris B. Young, Marcus Thames, Reimold
tough call. that said, I think you can survive without beltran and vazquez is very solid. I make the deal, and I would try to move joba or baker for a solid OF or utility option rather than a closer.
