Please send advice WHIR

I am in an 8x8 H2H standard yahoo scoring league.

Everyone has some pretty good teams.. i am guessing it has been a string of bad luck, btu i have fallen to 4th place from 2nd in the last 2 weeks. the last place team hit me hard 1-8-1 last week.

so this is my team.. please let me know if you think i should be looking to make a trade somewhere or if there is a guy that i should be looking for, or if i should start my squad differently.

in my opinion, i'd try and deal Zack Duke while he still has some value. Playing in Pittsburgh is a curse nowadays, and especially as a pitcher. If it were my team, I'd package Ethier and Duke for a stud SP. You seem to have quite a bit of OF depth, and even though your top SPs are excellent, you can never have too much good SP.

I was thinking of trying to upgrade my catcher.. btu i cant seem to get mauer, pablo sandoval or the martinez owners to bite on anything.

I would try to trade some of your offensive depth (Ethier, Victorino, Zimmerman) for an upgrade at C and SS. I would only trade 1 of your extra OF, you never know how Juan Rivera or Zobrist will do in the 2nd half of the year.

I'd drop Blake and take a flyer on Matt Wieters at catcher...

First off I would make some lineup changes to begin with....

I would start Zimmerman over ARAM at least until ARAM get's his swing back and starts hitting for power again. Next I would definately be playing Victorino over Rivera (Rivera was out a couple of games with the Hammy issue and he is either on or not on lately and Vic has been on fire as of late).....monitor both situations though and make a change back if things change)

Next....I would probably swap out Molina for Weiters (tough call so keep an eye on Weiters this 2nd half and determine who is hitting better)

Next.....question??? Who did you offer up for Mauer/VicMart/Sandy??? You probably won't get Mauer/VicMart unless you offer alot as they are considered to be currently the top 2 Catcher now. I would think you could try and get Sandy though who is on fire for a medium price! I would also try and maybe get Inge (some think he will regress in the 2nd half but I don't think so)

I do agree with upgrading your pitching staff though.....although it looks great as it is, like the other poster said....you can never have too many great pitchers.

So.....to break down your team:

1. Do a lineup change with a couple of guys
2. Try and upgrade your C spot as that is the weakest right now
3. Molina, Blake, Ethier (your 5th OF technically if you don't count Zobrist) have to go.....package them in a trade and add a top hitter or a Pitcher (like Duke) and upgrade a position like SP/C.

That should about do it! (Also.....a word of advice.....I would definately rather have Huff who is on your WW over Blake any day of the week)!
